Guiding Principles of Gendered Violence and Foundations of DFV
Join us at this Practice Forum to learn about the drivers of gendered violence. International and national research consistently finds that gendered violence is driven by gender inequality. Once we have a better understanding of the causes of gendered violence, we can work together to prevent it.
This Practice Forum will also focus on promoting a greater understanding of Domestic Family Violence (DFV) and coercive control. The Forum will provide practical tips to help identify signs someone may be experiencing DFV and explore safe and supportive communication methods with victim-survivors of violence.
