Two women and four children from three different families have

been killed in Queensland so far this year.

Alexis Parkes 50yrs

Chermside, Brisbane

Alexis died on 12 February 2020 after succumbing to injuries from a house fire that

was allegedly deliberately lit by her ex-partner on 5 February.


Unnamed baby boy 4mths


Allegedly killed by his father on 15th January in Gladstone.


Hannah Baxter 31yrs

Laianah, Aaliyah and Trey Baxter 3 to 6yrs

Camp Hill, Brisbane

The family were deliberately burnt to death by the children’s father on 19 February 2020

who also died in the fire.
