Celebrate 30 years with DVAC

hand holding a mirror ball through a purple sparkly curtainOur 30 Years Celebration event provides an opportunity to reflect together on the achievements of the DVAC community over the last three decades – the support we provide to more than 8,000 people a year at time when they need it most, and goodwill of our community who make us the strong values driven organisation we are.

Join us for a night of music, raffles, auctions, food, drink and celebration, supported by local businesses and organisations. We can’t wait to share this moment with you.

Since 1996, the Domestic Violence Action Centre has walked alongside clients, staff, and supporters, celebrating their achievements and strength. This anniversary is a moment to honour the people and goodwill that have shaped our organisation.

Our 30 Years Celebration event provides an opportunity to reflect together on the challenges overcome, the achievements, the support and goodwill of our community, and to recognise those who have contributed and supported our growth over three decades.

As we celebrate this milestone, our goal is to amplify the stories, impact, and vision of the Domestic Violence Action Centre, building momentum, connection, and investment so we can continue making a difference into the future.

DATE: 10 October 2026

TIME: 6pm to 10pm

VENUE: Hotel Commonwealth in the heart of Nicholas Street Precinct, Ipswich.

It will be a night of music, raffles, auctions, food, drink and celebration, supported by local businesses and organisations whose values align to our own. We can’t wait to share this moment with you.
